Meet Jessica Tilleman!

Hi Friends! My name is Jessica Howard-Tilleman! I am the Founder and CEO of Tilleman Tribe Puppies. I have a long love for dogs that stems from my first puppy, Pepper, a chihuahua I had as a young child. She miraculously delivered 6 healthy puppies that I absolutely adored. From that experience I became so intrigued with the circle of life. I have helped whelp countless litters through childhood and adolescence, and now into adulthood.

I am a 29 year old Phoenix native. I graduated from Maricopa High School at the age of 15 years old and have received a Certificate of Parent Education from Rio Salado College. I have been married to my sweet husband Karl Tilleman for over 10 years. We have our growing tribe of 4 young children. I am a busy full time mother running kids to school, dance classes, piano lessons, choir rehearsals, basketball practice and cheer squad. I am actively engaged in my local congregation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Sassy and Betty are not only our beautiful dames but our family and will stay with us long after they are retired from mothering to live out their lives surrounded with love until they depart from this world.

We strive to listen to the needs of our dogs. They receive regular veterinary care, are current on vaccines, and take vitamins daily to maintain not only their overall health but also their reproductive health. Sassy and Betty eat Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy Chow to help maintain a healthy weight during and after pregnancy. We vet all of the Sires for healthy genetics so we can deliver healthy puppies. Sires come to our home to mate or receive side-by-side Artificial Insemination services by certified professionals so the Dam can remain in a comfortable environment.

I often get heckled for being unethical for raising dogs intentionally when there are so many dogs in shelters. My heart goes out to animals that have never had a forever home or have lost their home. However, many people enjoy that what we offer is a healthy puppy with as few genetic flaws as possible. We like the behavioral and genetic predictability that is typically found when a puppy is whelped into a loving home and then adopted by a capable and caring family. It is my promise and pleasure that a portion of our proceeds go to no kill shelters and the Arizona Humane Society.
